About:China Visa

I currently working in China with Z visa.

My contract ends in February 20th, 2017, so does my resident permit. I have 3 questions:
1. How long can I stay in China, after my resident permit expired?
2. Can I extend my resident permit for 30 days?
3. If I move to another city in China, should I go back to my country to get a new visa or Can I do it without leaving China?

Thank you.

Ana, before your residence permit expire, you should go to the local exit and entry administration to cancel your residence permit and get a 30-day tourist L type, so that you can stay for 30 days more after your residence permit expires. If you move to another city, you can ask the new employer to apply for a new work permit for you and then apply for a new Z type at the city you will move to. You don't have to leave China.
