About:China Visa Exemption

canadian permanent resident holding a philippine passport

Hi, i am a Permanent resident in canada holding a philippine passport. From canada to phillipines, we'll have a 19 hrs lay over at Pudong, Shanghai China. Am i qualified for free visa "free transit for 24 hrs?" or do i still need to get an entry permit in order for me to get our of the airport. many thanks

Dang, you are qualified for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at Shanghai airport and then you can go out of the airport.
