Travelling with a 10 year old, can I buy a student transportation card for the shanghai metro?

I am sorry that there is no student card at the city. You can buy an ordinary one. Pay CNY 20 as the deposit, and add some value to it.
By the way, if your child is less than 4.3 feet (1.3m) in height, he/she can ride free on metro, buses and ferries. ;)
