About:China Tourist Visa

If I stop over in Shanghai (UK to Australia) for 80 hours what tourist visa do I need?

The internet gives the impression that I need to use an agent but is this essential?

Tony, no, you don’t need to apply for a tourist L type entry permit if you travel like that because you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
