About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

My husband and I will be on a Seabourn cruise in January 2017

docking at Xiamen at 8am and setting sail at 6pm the same day, 23rd January 2017. This will be our only visit to mainland China. We are residents of Australia holding both UK and Australian passports. Please advise if we will need visas.

Sonia, if the ship will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from after visiting Xiamen, you may be able to enjoy the 24 hour direct transit there, but you’d better double check that with the cruise ship company because you will enter and leave by the same cruise ship.
