I'm traveling back to china on a l-type because i lost my passport and my z-type.

So i traveled back to the states on a temporary passport. Now I'm getting a l-visa to go back to shanghai. Then my company will reapply for my z-type. Is it ok if i bought a round trip to from china now going back on a way ticket?
