About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Paris - Kunming - Hanoi; Ho Chi Minh City - Shanghai - Prague, China Eastern Airlines

I have passport of Czech Republic.
I fly from Paris to Kunming (7 hours stopover) and then to Hanoi (stop in Nanning, but without leaving a plane) and back from Ho Chi Minh City to Shanghai (18 hours stopover) and then to Prague.
Will I need some visa on the way to Hanoi for stopover in Kunming?
Will 72 hours free transit in Shanghai will be for me on the way back?
So the only thing I need is my ticket and passport?
Thank you, Monika Rambouskova

Monika, if your total stopover time in Kunming and Nanning is less than 24 hours, you will be able to make use of the 24 hour direct transit. No entry permit will be needed then.
As for your layover in Shanghai, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit.
You just need to take your passport, ticket and valid entry permit for Vietnam.
