distance from chongqing airport to nearest town?

We have a 4 hour layover at airport until our connecting flight, how far is the nearest town so we can exit the airport and take a look around?

Well, during the layover, you may go to see the Bijin Park, Folk Culture Village, and Shuanglong Lake at Shuanglu Town, Yubei District. They are about 2 miles (3km) from the airport. You can taxi there for about CNY 10. Remeber to return back to the airport at least two hours prior to departure! ;)
