Australian/British passport for China

Hi there,
I'm flying from Taiwan to Beijing, will be in Beijing for between 24-72 hours, before leaving Beijing to return to Taiwan. I hold Australian and British passports. Any advice on what would be the best visa option?

Frank, I personally think the best option is flying from Taiwan to Beijing, then flying to Taiwan but have a layover in a third country or region, so that you can use the 72h free transit in Beijing and the transit permit is not required. If you won't do this, you simply apply for a tourist L type entry permit for mainland China.
