About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

i am an australian / british citizen living in australia but need to get a visa for 2 days in china on the 14th jan but will be in canada for the 4 weeks before then , can i get a visa from the china embassy in toronto while im in canada ?

In principal, if you have the Canadian valid visa or residence permit, you can apply for a Chinese visa in Canada, but the certainty is not 100%. You'd better apply for Chinese visa in Australia, the tourist visa is generally valid for 3 months, so it won't be exired when you go to Beijing.
