About:Hong Kong Visa Application

HI. I'm filipina and dont need a visa to enter hongkong and macau.

I'll visit hk and macau with my family this october 28-november 6. My Nepalese boyfriend needs to have entry permit so he can come with us. He has his plane tickets booked and also reservations for hotels. However, we lack documents and took time to gather everything. Then we were informed that it will take approx. 3 weeks to process his application but we cannot wait that long because we will be leaving for hk in less than 3 weeks. Is there a way we can hasten this process? Is it possible that I (Filipina) will go to hk nextweek and process his application for him? If thats possible, how long will it take for me to get his entry permit? Will there be expedite process? Thank you so much

Kay, as far as I know, there is no way to speed up the application process. If it’s the first time he applies for it, the application should be sent to HK immigration department and usually, 4 to 6 weeks are needed; but if it’s not the first time, he may be able to submit the application to the embassy of PRC directly and if the application is processed by the embassy, 4 working days may be needed.
Even though you submit it to HK immigration department directly, the process time won’t change and there is no expedite process.
