About:Shanghai Metro Line 2

Train from Pudong Airport to Hangzhou Railway Station

Hi, appreciate if you could give me a simple direction from Pudong Airport --> Hongqiao Railway Station --> Hangzhou Railway Station --> Westlake 7 service apartment- Xihu. I am travelling with son who is on wheelchair. Thanks a million!

Hey, I suggest you take subway line 2 from PVG o Hongqiao Railway Station within 90min. On the way, you need to change to another carriage within the station of Guanglan Road. At Hongqiao Station, many bullet trains operate every day to Hangzhou East. Just buy tickets on the spot. Tell the staff about your case and perhaps they may give you a special arrangement.

If you refer to the apartment branch on Yuewang Road, take Hangzhou subway line 1 at the East Railway Station to Longxiangqiao. After that, ur apartment will be around 850yd away.

The whole trip is wheelchair friendly. Don't worry! Eenjoy your trip with your son!

Thanks Queen. So, do I buy ticket to Hangzhou or Hangzhou East to get to my apartment? what's the difference between these 2 stations? Thanks again.

You are advised to buy a ticket to Hangzhou East Railway Station because most bullet trains stop there.

Hangzhou Railway Station is located at No. 1, East Huancheng Road, Shangcheng District, near the city center, while East Railway Station is located at No. 1 Tiancheng Road, Jianggan District. They are about 5.6 miles (9km) away. :)
