Going to Suzhou and Hangzhou on 26/10 -28/10

I am going to Suzhou and Hangzhou from Shanghai and I would like to stay a night at water village. Which place should I visit first?

Could you recommend me the places that I can go for both SZ and HZ?
Is Tongli the good place to stay over night before heading to SZ or HZ?

Hey, Tongli Water Town is a good choice, but to get there from Shanghai, you have to transfer in Suzhou. Then I suggest you go to Suzhou for a visit first. Then head for Tongli to spend a night. After that, go back to Suzhou to take a train to Hangzhou.

You are lucky that direct buses from Tongli Bus Station to Hangzhou North Bus Station are available. There are four schedules per day: 08:00, 10:15, 14:05 and 15:35. Enjoy your trip!
