Multiple Entry Tourist Visa - for few years

Hi, I wish to apply for Chinese entry permit for a self-arranged vacation in November 2016, with a fixed itinerary. I've since learnt of the high cost of applying for such entry permits (& I've heard I can try to apply for multiple entries); can I therefore apply for multiple entry for upcoming few years, despite not having a planned itinerary for my next visits?

Thanks

Azwan, based on what I know, you can try to apply for a one-year multiple-entry tourist L visa and you can just provide your travel itinerary of your first visit. Just give it a try!
