About:China Visa on Arrival

Do I need a visa for a 4 day stop over whilst en-route from Sydney, Australia to London?

Tim, may I know where you will stop? If you will stop in Shanghai, Zhejiang or Jiangsu for 4 days, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit because you will be eligible for the 144 hour free transit there. Otherwise, I’m afraid a transit G type or tourist L type may be needed.
