About:How to Apply for a China Visa

doing a cruise to Asia from Barbara in the US

landing in Hong Kong - 3 days, then Vietnam, The Phillippines, Taiwan, S Korea and finish in
Shanghai for 3 days
What kinds of Visa and how do I get one

Barbara, after finishing in Shanghai, if you will fly to a third country or region instead of the last country you departed, you will be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit. In this way, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit any more.
