About:China Tourist Visa

Previous S1 visa expired. Tourist visa allowed?

My husband is living/working in China. I need to be able to visit as needed. May I apply for a tourist visa without a purchased ticket? Or may I reapply for S1 visa while still in the US?

Robin, you can apply for a tourist L visa and your friend can issue you the invitation letter. In this case, no purchased ticket is needed.
Or you can also re-apply for a new S1 visa for that.
