About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Ticket 1:CPH-PVG-CPH, Ticket 2:PVG-TPE-PVG

Is the 72 or 144 hours free transit apply or do I need visa?
Ticket 1: CPH-PVG-CPH, arrives PVG 12am on day 1,
Stay in Shanghai 3days
Ticket 2: PVG-Taiwan-PVG departur 9am
Stay in Taiwan 10 days
Ticket 2: PVG-Taiwan-PVG, arrive in PVG 11am.
Stay in Shanghai 3days.
Ticket 1 : CPH-PVG-CPH departs PVG 13pm arrives In CPH
Ticket 1: duration is more than 72-hours in Shanghai can I used this visa free transit .

Kim, so your travel route is like CPH-PVG-TPE-PVG-CPH, right? If yes, as long as your layover time in Shanghai is less than 144 hours, you will be able to utilize the free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be needed then.
