How to get the immigration stamp if I am arriving by train?

We are a family of 4 from India planning to visit Foshan for some sight seeing. We will be arriving there from Hong Kong. If we enter Foshan by train, how do we get immigrated into China?

It is suggested that you apply for the visa at your local Chinese embassy in advance before leaving as the visa is required when you enter Foshan from Hong Kong.
