About:China Visa Exemption

We are travelling in 4 persons, holding Indonesia passport, coming from HK to GZ on 20-Dec

and will take CZ329 from GZ to VANCOUVER on the same day departure flight at 2pm.
At the return, we will arrive in GZ from Vancouver by CZ330 on 05-Jan at 5pm, then our next flight will depart from HK to Singapore on 06-Jan.
Would I apply for 24hr direct transit visa? how and where?
Thanks for your help.

Henry, you don't need to apply for the 24hr direct transit. When you pass through the immigration counter upon arrival, if you plan to leave the airport, you can tell the officer that you want to leave and show your onward ticket, so the officer will stamp on your passport and then you can leave.
