About:China Visa

Entry into china without proof of payment.

I am Charles, I have a brother who has been admitted into a college in China on partial scholarship (80%). However the parental contribution has not yet been made as intended in the contract stated by the college. However after negotiation with the college, an arrangement was reached which allowed him to go and attend classes in the meantime as payment is to be made at a later date. Now, the question is, will the immigration office at the airport in China still demand for the proof of payment, since it is a requirement, even after presenting a signed letter of acceptance into the college? And is it possible that they could deport him?
Thanks.

Charles, I don’t think the immigration office at the airport will require proof of payment, so there is no need to worry!
He can just take his student X type to enter PRC. He won’t be deported.
