About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling to Auckland from London via Shanghai

Do I require any form of transit paperwork for stopping off in Shanghai for 5 hours, not leaving the airport, just awaiting onward flight to Auckland?

Colin, no, you don’t need it because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit there.
