About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Want to visit Hong Kong from Shenzhen

Hi Sir and Madam
I hold Australian passport and my husband hold Malaysian passport, we got single entry from Brisbane to Guangzhou. We will be at Guangzhou for 9 days then we decide going to Shenzhen and HK. Can we apply a single entry at Shenzhen for HK?

Thank you.

Christina, both of you can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not exceeding 90 days, so you don’t need to apply for an entry permit in advance.

Thank you Pierre for the answer. How about going back to Shenzhen from HK? Can we apply the visa at HK or at Shenzhen before we leave to HK?

You cannot apply for entry permit for mainland PRC in Shenzhen. If you want to re-enter Shenzhen after visiting HK, you can get 5-day VOA at Shenzhen border, but the VOA only allows you to travel around Shenzhen. Or you can try to apply for an entry permit for mainland PRC in HK.
