Visa for Sanya if visiting on cruise ?

Can I confirm that Australian passport holders don't need an entry permit for Sanya if on a cruise that is stopping there for eight hours. The cruise starts in Hong Kong, which we don't need an entry permit for. Thanks.

Sharon, if the ship departs from Hong Kong for Sanya and then leave for a differen country after the eight hours, it's possible that you can use the 24-hour direct transit policy.
