i am travelling from edinburgh to kathmandu via guangzhou baiyun airport.

I have a 12 hour transit stay there, what kind of facilities will China Southern provide me? Should I book a hotel room at the airport?

There are lounges at East-I bridge. The First class passengers, business class passengers, luxurious first class passengers can enjoy the two-cabin lounge; gold card passengers, silver card passengers and SkyTeam ELITE PLUS passengers enjoy the card class lounge. If you are an economical class passenger, you may stay at the hotels nearby. For instance, the Pullman Hotel to the opposite of Gate 13, Departure Hall is a nice choice for you.
