About:China Transit Visa

Traveling to Russia from Philippines.

I'm a Filipina and I want to ask if I need a transit visa to China? Also, my daughter is a Russian citizen. Does she need a transit G type to China going to Russia?

If your stopover in PRC is less than 24 hours, you don’t need a transit G type for PRC because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. However, if it’s more than 24 hours, a transit G type is needed.
May I know which city you will transit? If the city you transit carries out the 72 hour or 144 hour free transit and your daughter stops for less than 72/144 hours there, she can enjoy free transit in that city. No entry permit is needed then.
