Please advise which month is the best timing to visit Beijing Great Wall?

I heard that April, May, September and October are good times to visit the Great Wall in Beijing. But if you intend to go there in October, you need to avoid the first week of the month, as there is a 7-day national holiday and the Great Wall can be very crowded.0
