About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Pakistani passport but Australian permanent resident

I am holding a Pakistani passport but I am permanent resident of Australia living in Australia as well applied a visit Visa for HK directly to Hong Kong immigration it's been more than a week and a half that they have received all the documents But we have received no its knowledge or reply from the immigration.
does anyone know how long does it take to get big big knowledge meant from the department?

Usually, 4 to 6 weeks are needed for the process if you mail your application to HK immigration department directly, so just wait patiently.

They haven't send me any confirmation or acknowledgement that they have received the application is that normal?

It is normal because it just passed one week and a half. If you are worried, you can contact HK immigration department and inquire about that. Tel: (852) 3160 8663

So to bother you again Paul I rang that number they asked for seven digit application reference number which I haven't got one what should I do?
