About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

If going to Guangzhou for 8 hrs then to Shanghai for a day

can I apply for a transit G type for both? Or can I apply for 2 separate transit visas?

Kathryn, you can just apply for one transit G type for entry to Guangzhou and Shanghai.
