About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Indian passport transit visa for 5 hrs at shanghai (To see the city) on way to LA from Malaysia

I am an indian citizen with second home visa in malaysia. I am travelling to USA Los Angeles with a valid USA entry permit. I am travelling on a chinese airlines. I have 9 Hrs layover at Shangai and want to tour the city. Do i require a prior transit permit to leave the airport for say 5 hrs TQ

Khashav, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, so you don’t need to apply for a transit G type in advance. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office after you arrive and then you can leave the airport. But because you just have 5 hours, I’m afraid it’s too tight to visit the city.
