About:China Visa Application in UK

We are traveling to Sanya on a cruise ship, from Hong kong, for 7 hrs do we need a visa please

If you will go to a third country or region rather than HK after staying for 7 hours in Sanya, you may be able to use the 24 hour direct transit there. In this case, no entry permit will be needed. You can contact with the cruise company and confirm that.
