About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

denied 144 hour visa

Hi, arrived in China from London and was denied Visa due to stay exceeding 144 hours. Went to Hong Kong for 2 days.
Am I now allowed to return to China for less than 144 hours before returning to London

Yes, if your stay in Shanghai is not more than 144 hours, you are still aloowed to use the 144-hour free transit policy.
