Metro from Baiyun Airport to Guangzhou South Railway Station

My flight lands Baiyun at 9:30 PM on Mon, Oct 3rd and I'm staying near a hostel around the corner from South Railway Station. I know it's National Day Golden week so will probably be extra busy...Can I expect that after bags & customs that I would be at the metro station by 10:30 PM or so? What time does the metro line from the airport stop running? I need to take Line #3 from the airport and transfer to Line #2...Do both lines run past 11 PM? How long is entire transfer time take from Airport (North or South?) to South Train Station? Thanks!
