About:China Transit Visa
Denied a visa at Guangzhou as time between arrival and departure was <8hrs
Wanted to use the Pullman hotel for 6 hours and had booked a room, but was told would not be allowed out of the terminal because of the above, so had to spend 6 hours in the international departure terminal.
Doesn't seem right, but haven't read much on minimum hours on any websites.
This was recently (last week, Sept 2016).
