not direct to dalian

Question

I am flying fromSpain to Dalian and ther could be one or two stops beforte Dalian being the final destination.Does the 72 hours start at destination Dalian or the first port of Call on the way to Dalian

Alan, if so, you don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Dalian because the 72 hour policy stipulates you should fly to a third country or region after staying for less than 72 hours in Dalian, but you said your final destination is Dalian. Also, you will stop in other Chinese cities before arriving in Dalian, right? If so, a tourist L type is needed.
