hi, my mom and i have a 12 hour layover in Shanghai-we're planning a short city trip- any recommendations?

Will you connect flight at Pudong Airport? You are suggested to take subway line 2 from the PVG airport to Nanjing East Raod and change to line 10 to Yuyuan Station. Visit the Yuyuan Garden and Yuyuan Market if you are interested. There are also many local snacks in the market for you to taste. Then you can walk or take subway line 10 to Nanjing Road and stroll along the road to the Bund area for sightseeing. After that, get back to the airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure.
