About:Visa Policy of China

Hi, I hold a Malaysian passport and will be flying from Malaysia to Beijing and transit to UlanBator

and few days later will take the Siberian train and back to Beijing and continue to travel for 2 days before flying back to Malaysia. Do I need to apply visa for this?

According to what you said, I think you need to apply for a double-entry tourist L type for that.
