Obtaining a visa for DRC in China

Hi - I'm planning to visit my friend who lives in the DRC. I'm trying to establish the process of getting a visa to visit the DRC in China. I'm British, but from what my friend tells me, obtaining a visa in China is a lot quicker than doing it in the UK. Can anyone advise on the process/time/cost to do it from China?
Thanks

Chris, you can apply for a tourist visa for DRC to visit your friend. You should first prepare the required documents containing your passport and its copy, your valid visa for China, the application form attached with a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your friend, and proof of transportation and accommodation arrangement, as well as proof of financial support.
It may cost CNY 662, but the final payment is subject to the actual payment given by the embassy. Usually, 5 - 7 working days may be needed, but time may be difference on a case-by-case basis.
