About:Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh

Conference attend

I want to go Beijing China for attending a conference. I have their invitation letter and air ticket and hotel booking . I went to the embassy office in dhaka but they asked me for an invitation letter from chinese govt. But i know that it is for those who are going for business persons. I have all documents of the conference . So what should i do?

As far as I know, an invitation letter from the government is needed when you apply for a business M type or an F type and you can ask the conference to get the invitation for you.
