Do u know the best way to go from shanghai to huangshan?

Can u tell me also if is possible to sleep in a tent on the mountain or if is there any cheap hostel?

You can take a direct bus to the mountain from South Bus Station. The buses depart at 6:37, 7:57, 9:07, 10:27, and 14:57. The fare is CNY 148.

Yes, you can set up a tent on the mountain. Or, you can stay at Baiyun Hotel. Some rooms have 6 to 10 beds, and each bed costs CNY 60-70 on ordinary days; CNY 200 on holidays.

Yes, there are tents for rental on the mountain. It costs around CNY 130 on weekdays; CNY 180 on weekends. The bus ride takes 5 to 6 hours.

Can I ask you once I'm in the mountain can I start to climb the mountain or have I to take other buses? And the last, I promise, is possible to share the tent or is it for one person?

Upon arrival, you need to take a bus to Ciguang Pavilion or Yungu Temple. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and the fare is CNY 19. Then, you can start climbing.

Generally speaking, one tent can hold two or three persons. :)
