I am a Sierra Leonean I want to go to China on business purposes

is there any specific.amount that should be in my personal.account.is also travellers cheque a must?

There is no such kind of requirement for how much you should have in your personal account. The traveler cheque is not necessary. But you should have enough money to cover your business trip expenses in PRC.
