About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

i have a permanent US resident greencard and want to get a business visa

do i have to show up in person to apply? I have all the required documents.

You can go there in person or ask someone else to go there and apply for you.

You cannot mail your application to the consulate to apply for it. You can entrust someone else to go there for the application. In this case, you don’t have to go there in person.
