About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Cruise connection

My Wife (Korean) and myself (US) are looking to do a cruise round trip out of Shanghi. Our flight would be from Korea to Shanghi round trip and we would be on the cruise ship for 4 days.
Does this or the 144hr visa free travel apply?

Dan, you mean you will go back to Korea after staying in Shanghai? If yes, you are not eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
