About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Two health checks?

I have already undergone a health check in order to apply for the work permit during a Shanghai visit in July. Upon receipt of the Z Visa (for which the work permit issued by the Ministry of a Labour is a prerequisite), I am planning to move to Shanghai by the end of September. Do I have to pass another health check upon arrival to obtain the residence permit? Thank you!!

Yes, you need to do another physical examination after you enter PRC and apply for the residence permit.
