About:Visa Policy of China

Query related to transit visa

Hello,
I am having Indian passport and traveling from UK to Melbourne with 5 hours stay at Shanghai "Pudong Airport". Do I need to take transit type for China?

Also, my son is having British passport and does he need transit type?

Vishal, you don’t need to apply for a transit G type for that because both of you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
