Hi there. I'm flying China Soutern NZ to UK with a 16 hour transfer in Guangzhou.

I have booked a free transfer hotel. Will I be issued with both boarding passes at Auckland and will my luggage be checked all the way through?

Yeah, your luggage will be checked through and just collect it at the final destination. No worry!

Now that you use the Southern Airline for the whole journey, you can ask for the two boarding passes before leaving NZ. Then you will save many troubles during the transfer.
