About:2025 / 2026 / 2027 Public Holiday Calendar

I want to visit Shanghai on 30th sept and spend about a week there. Is it a good idea?

My husband is a chief engineer looking after a ship building in Shanghai yard for d last 2 months. And I with my two kids want to visit him during that period for a week. Want ur opinion on this issue. Srabani ganguly

Srabani, the National Day Holiday (Oct. 1~7) is the peak travel period in China. There should be many visitors in Shanghai at that time. Hotels as well as train and air tickets should be hard to access. It is suggested you book them in advance.

In adddition, to enter PRC, you should apply for the S visa in advance from the embassy so that you will pay a visit to your husband.
