About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We have received our travel documents for our flight to Shanghai and then cruise

and the travel agent says we qualify for 144 hour free transit. Our problem says we must tell our carrier that we qualify for 144 hour free transit prior to arrival but on contacting emirates airlines they do not seem to know about this visa. What do I do to ensure that on arrival in Shanghai they are aware that I wish the 144 hour free transit to apply.

You can download the relevant 144 hour free transit policy information from the Timatic data base and then print it out. When boarding the plane, you can show the printouts to the carrier. It may work.
