About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

hi iam from india, i have single entry visa and i want to go hongkong

but my return ticket booked from shanghai, can i come from hongkong to shanghai without valid entry permit and Travel on same day to India ?

Vijay, according to what you said, when you return, your layover time in Shanghai will be less than 24 hours, and then you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit. So no entry permit is needed.
