How easy is it to get to Silk Market by bus from New World Beijing Hotel?

I am asking about the bus as in August this year we got scammed by a taxi driver he kept changing out 100 notes for fake ones. So I do not trust taxi anymore

From your hotel, you can walk northeast around 0.6 miles to get to Chongwenmen Metro Station. Then take metro line 2 from there to Jianguomen Station, Exit B. After arriving, walk northeast around 800 yards (720 meters) to find the market.
